We are proud to announce the release of Glencadam Origin 1825.

A very special collection of casks was chosen for the Origin 1825 edition. The final selection consisted of a unique marriage of whisky matured in first-class American white-oak bourbon barrels with whisky “finished” in the finest Spanish Oloroso Sherry butts.

    Tasting Notes:

    Colour: Warm gold

Nose: Creamy, floral malted barley with hints of vanilla that welcome the arrival of mixed summer fruits

Palate: Bananas, pineapple, pears and boiled sweets merge with a delicious mix of soft spice

    Finish: Floral with pear-drop sweetness.

    ABV 40%

As one of Scotch whisky’s hidden gems Glencadam is the perfect gift for anyone who loves whisky. Rich in heritage and tradition, we've been making our specially crafted whisky since 1825 with a selection of malts to suit any occasion. Below, we've put together a guide with our Brand Ambassador Iain Forteath to help you pick the perfect whisky either as a gift or something to celebrate with this Christmas.

    Glencadam 10yo
A lovely dram to start your journey into our rather special Highland malt. The 10 year old Glencadam has an inviting nose of vanilla, wood spice and tropical fruits. The palate is lovely and layered with notes of vanilla, floral hints and sweet spices wich lead onto a gentle, peppery and moreish finish.

    Glencadam 14yo Olosroso Finish
A richer style of Glencadam, finished for 2 years in Oloroso sherry butts. The nose is reminiscent of Christmas pudding with notes of dried fruits and almonds. The palate is rich and sweet with notes of prune, fig and sweet vanilla bound with sweet spice notes. The finish is rounded and smooth with hints of spice. A perfect dram for your Christmas pud!

    Glencadam 15yo

A great choice for a malt lover! A rather delicious highlander that is guaranteed to raise a few eyebrows! The 15 year old boasts an aromatic nose of creamy vanilla and almonds with a touch of tropical fruits. The palate is textured and balanced with hints of clove spice hinding amoungst the creamy vanilla body. The finish is sweet, malty, rounded and nutty.

    Glencadam 21yo
A stunningly well balanced malt with a nose of sweet orange, tropical fruits and vanilla. The palate is floral and honeyed, again with lifted citrus and flavoured of candied peels. The finish is long and complex with sweet spices and dried fruit lingering long after finishing.
